Joseph Carozza attributes his internship experiences at Hofstra for leading him to the current position he is in today as Senior Director of Publicity for Sony's Epic Records.
"In my four years at Hofstra I gained much experience by interning and working in the Public Relations field for many different companies like Universal Music Group's Def Jam , Coach, Rogers & Cowan, The Britto Agency and Stepinac Theater. The variety of internships I had really helped me to focus on what my interests in the field were after graduating. I never treated any of my experiences as an internship but approached them every day with the mentality that I was at a full-time job because I loved being in the Public Relations environment. Each internship always led me to the next and my internship my senior year led to my first job in the industry at Rogers & Cowan."
Joseph also credits his academic experiences at Hofstra for providing him with the foundation to be the person he is today. Only three years since graduation he has landed his dream job and will always cherish his college experience and the lifelong friendships he has formed.
