Scholarships for Educational Leaders
The FLPS Department has established scholarships designed to support exceptionally qualified educators who have completed administrative certification and have assumed leadership positions in their school or district. Applicants to the doctoral program in Educational and Policy Leadership (Ed.D.) are eligible for these scholarships.
Awards
Applicants to the Ed.D. program are eligible for awards of $18,000 and may be applied to tuition remission for Phase II and Phase III of the doctoral program (advanced professional studies and dissertation).
Eligibility
Decisions will be based on the following criteria:
- Strong academic record at undergraduate and graduate level.
- Outstanding recommendations from administrative supervisors and colleagues.
- Demonstrated competence in educational leadership and the potential for continued growth and development.
- Financial need.
Application Process
These scholarships are available for applicants who intend to begin the Ed.D. program in the fall semester. To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must submit a completed application and the scholarship application form by May 1. The scholarship application form is below.
