  • Hear renowned faculty and literacy scholars speak about their teaching and research.
  • Hear perspectives from current students – about their publications and presentations.
  • Learn more about the increasing number of faculty positions in Literacy Studies
  • Join a discussion group to discuss programs and generous scholarships.

The evening is open to teachers and administrators interested in the possibility of studying for a Literacy Studies doctorate at Hofstra University. Refreshments will be provided.
There will be a celebration of doctoral alumni and current students’ publications, and Bobbie Kabuto will speak about publishing:
