During Summer I, 2008, the Department of Marketing and International Business offers a study-abroad Marketing/International Business 170, International Marketing (3 Credits). The Program involves 3 weeks of class on campus at Hofstra, and the last two weeks of class will be in China. It is open to everyone with 58+ credits (junior standing), and Marketing 101. The class will count as an elective for marketing majors and minors, and/or fulfills a requirement for the IB major and minor.
Dates in China: Tentatively June 9 – June 24, 2008.
Places: Beijing and Shanghai, China.
Activities: Lectures and visit of companies, market places, and universities
Costs: Tuition for 3 credits, plus program fee estimated at $2500.
