Drama Program Outcomes
Students with a major in drama graduate with a combination of classroom instruction and professional experiences that are highly regarded in today’s competitive performing arts industry. Of those 2011-12 graduates who responded to a survey, 92 percent who earned a degree in the humanities reported being employed or pursuing graduate studies. They reported an average annual salary of $36,973.
Graduates of the class of 2012 reported getting positions with these companies within six months of graduation:
- Pangea World Theater
- Arlington Children’s Theater
- Orlando Shakespeare Theatre
- Denver Center for the Performing Arts
Additionally, many of our recent graduates are pursuing or planning to pursue advanced degrees at institutions such as Columbia University and Yale University.
