The Department of Drama and Dance posts internship and job openings on poowabah.info, a departmentally-sponsored blog, which reflects the collaborative and community-minded atmosphere of the Drama and Dance Department.
Students may pursue internships in a variety of ways. They may respond to postings, contact their departmental adviser for assistance in securing an internship, consult with The Hofstra Career Center and the Office of Off-Campus Education (OCE), or do their own networking and research. The Drama and Dance Department allows students to receive academic credit for internships related to their studies. Faculty advisers are assigned to and support students throughout the course of the internship process.
