Global Studies Major and Geography Minor, Jeremy Moskow, Receives Award
Jeremy Moskow, a Global Studies major and Geography minor, spent his final semester interning at Partners for Development (an international relief and development organization) in Silver Springs, Maryland through The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars.
At The Washington Center’s fall commencement ceremony, held December 9th, Jeremy was honored with TWC’s Award for Civic Engagement. This award is presented to a deserving student who displays initiative, care, and concern in civic engagement efforts serving the local D.C. community independently or through Civic Engagement programs, Speaker Series, or direct action.
A member of Mu Kappa, Hofstra’s chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the International Geographic Honor Society, Jeremy also served on Hofstra’s Student Senate. Upon graduation this past December 21st, Jeremy has returned to the D.C. area and is a Public Policy Associate at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
