B.S. in Community Health: Minors

Minor programs of study

    • Concentration in Nutrition Science
      To fulfill a concentration in nutrition science, the following five major core electives must be taken: Food and Culture, Introduction to Nutrition Science, Nutrition Through the Life Cycle, Principles of Food Science, and Diet Therapy.
  • Minor in Community Health
    A minor in community health consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours in the Department of Health Professions with a grade of C- or better in each course. A minimum of 12 semester hours must be taken in residence. Academic advisement is required through the Department of Health Professions for all candidates wishing to minor in community health.
