Undergraduate transcripts are evaluated by Hofstra’s Certification Office for compliance with NYS Dept. of Education requirements for teacher certification. Students will be notified of any deficiencies, and will be required to complete any identified missing course work by the time of graduation.

- Students who have not completed an undergraduate course in Aural Rehabilitation are required to take SPCH 138.
- Successful completion of the Comprehensive Examination in the last semester of study.
- Satisfactory interpersonal behavior and professional performance in all academic courses and clinical practicum experiences.
