Learn About Entrepreneurship

Hofstra University offers prestigious academic programs for students interested in pursuing entrepreneurship as a career in both the Frank G. Zarb School of Business and Fred DeMatteis School of Engineering:

The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship

Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business offers a major and minor area of study in Entrepreneurship. The Center for Entrepreneurship works closely with the administration and faculty to offer experiential learning opportunities to students in Zarb. Students have an opportunity to work with a team of student entrepreneurs to launch a new venture. These businesses are funded by Capital One, where bankers serve as mentors throughout the academic year.

Computer Science and Computer Engineering Concentration in Leadership and Innovation

The Fred DeMatteis School of Engineering offers a concentration in Leadership and Innovation in Computing for students who are interested in pursuing innovations in the computing field that can have an impact on society, who want to bridge their technical degree with business, and who are motivated to increase their knowledge of entrepreneurship.
