Office of Career Services
Current Students
Whether you are searching for a summer internship, a part-time job during the school year or a post-graduate position, the Hofstra University School of Law Office of Career Services (OCS) plays a significant role in helping you prepare for all aspects of your search through a wide variety of educational, developmental and counseling services.
In addition to resume and cover letter preparation and interview training, OCS presents informative career panels, speakers and workshops throughout the year to educate Hofstra Law School students on all aspects of the legal practice. With this assistance, Hofstra students obtain positions with private law firms, government agencies, public interest organizations, corporations, and federal and state judges. OCS organizes and facilitates a comprehensive on-campus interview program, which includes both public and private sector employers and also supports an extensive online employer database. Make sure your job search process includes discussions on a regular basis with one or more of the OCS counselors about your career goals and how to best achieve them.
