Develop your clinical teaching expertise and educate the next generation of practitioners in your field through our joint MD/MSEd degree with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine.
What is the Health Professions Education?
Health professions education is designed to transform clinicians and health professionals into competent, well-rounded educators who can instruct and guide students, residents, and fellows in their field. This curriculum will provide you with advanced teaching, leadership, and research skills that you can apply to an educational environment in your specific profession. Whether you are already overseeing education programs in your health field or are looking to advance to a leadership role, the health professions education will further develop your expertise as both an educator and a leader.

Joint MD/MSEd Program
The 4-day Residency Week provides an opportunity for students to synthesize and apply the principles and concepts from the program courses while participating in intensive, face-to-face classroom education- and leadership-focused activities with their peers.
The goal of the Residency Week is to provide an intensive teaching and learning experience that compliments the program curriculum by providing opportunities for face-to-face collaboration, hands-on learning, and by deepening connections between learners and instructors.
