What is the Senior Class Gift?
This enduring tradition invites seniors to give back to Hofstra is support of undergraduate education. Gifts help provide financial aid to current and future students, fund student activities, support faculty, and improve life at Hofstra. This is no just a senior event—it’s a commitment that begins a lifetime of involvement with Hofstra, and is the first step in the transition from student to alumnus/a.
Why Should I give?
The Fund for Hofstra University is a vital source of unrestricted funds that helps the University to attract the best and brightest students through scholarships and financial aid, expand academic offerings; recruit and support accomplish faculty and staff, and enhance classrooms and other campus facilities with the latest technologies.
What do I give?
Graduating seniors are asked to make a gift of $20.17 in honor of their graduation. However, gifts of all sizes matter. Any gift of $5, $10, $50 will go to supporting the Senior Class Gift and contribute to the Class of 2017 legacy.
