Hofstra has many services to offer to make your visit with us more comfortable.

The University has many retail and service outlets within the Student Center and throughout the campus. For locations click here to view Hofstra's Interactive Campus Map.

The Student Center, centrally located, houses several cafeterias and dining areas, including the Main Dining Room, Rathskeller/Greenhouse, Plaza Dining Rooms, Burlaps Coffee and Sbarro Pizza. Also located in the Student Center, Hair Express is a full service beauty salon providing the latest styles by a professional staff. The Hofstra University Bookstore offers a wide variety of merchandise including clothing, gifts, sundries, snacks, convenience items and supplies. Postal services are also available. Three Automatic Teller Machines are conveniently located in the Student Center, Axinn Library and Memorial Hall to provide easy access to money and banking information at any hour through the NYCE, Cirrus, and Plus System networks.

Washers and dryers are located in each residence hall. The cost is $1.00 per load. Laundry cards can be purchased at the Conference Services Hospitality Desk. There are also vending machines in each residence hall for snacks and drinks.

The Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow is just two miles east of the University. It is a complete medical facility equipped for emergency treatment and operations. If an emergency should arise, Hofstra Public Safety will provide transportation.

The Hospitality Desk is open seven days a week from 8:30 am - 10:00 pm, and is located in the Student Center. Permits are not required in parking lots on the North Campus but are required for Handicapped and Faculty/Staff parking privileges.
