Bio

Vincent Pellegrino, PhD, has been an adjunct faculty member in Hofstra's Department of Rhetoric since September 1992, and has taught classes in Oral Communication, Public Speaking, and Interpersonal Communication.  He also teaches Interpersonal Communication at Nassau Community College.

Since 2011, he has hosted a weekly radio talk show on WRHU 88.7 FM, Radio Hofstra University, called Talk it OUT with Dr. Vince, which focuses on life in the LGBT community.   He is also a columnist for the online magazine Edge and a contributing writer for the Huffington Post's "Gay Voice" section. 

Dr. Pellegrino has also enjoyed a professional theatrical career spanning more than 35 years, playing roles in such films as Dog Day Afternoon, Network, 9 &1/2 Weeks, Ghostbusters, and Splash, in addition to many television and theatrical appearances.
