Bio:

Terry Godlove, Professor, Acting Chair, and Associate Dean, Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. BA, Oberlin College ('77); Ph.D., University of Chicago, ('84). Member of the faculty and resident of Forest Hills, Queens, since 1986. Research interests: history of modern philosophy, Kant, Durkheim, philosophy of social science, philosophy of religion, theories of religion. He is author of, Religion, Interpretation and Diversity of Belief (Cambridge, 1989), Teaching Durkheim (ed., Oxford, 2005), and articles in the areas listed above.
