Description:

Fall, Spring
Journalism has evolved from the typewriter and telegraph days to an age of instantaneous communication. Students will be introduced to and learn the use of modern journalism tools such as HTML, computer-based information research, still and video cameras, audio recorders and techniques of audio/video editing, information graphics, as well as other tools as the technologies and profession continue to evolve. Outside community research and reporting time is required.

 
Semester Hours: 3 
Prerequisites:

WSC 1. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis. No liberal arts credit. Lab fees additional.
