Fall, Spring

Reporting and writing news, feature and investigative stories from the world of amateur and professional sports.? Students must be able to cover sporting events, particularly those of Hofstra University teams.? Students will learn the special legal and ethical dimensions of sports journalism, along with an examination of the history and current best practices of sports journalism in newspapers, magazines and online publications.?

 
Semester Hours: 3 
Prerequisites: JRNL 11. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
