MATH 61   - (MA) Basic Calculus with Applications

Fall, Spring
This is a terminal course that should not be taken by students who wish to continue in mathematics. Functions, limits, differentiation, and integration and applications to business and the biological and social sciences. Similar to MATH 061A, but with more time for review and applications.?

 
Semester Hours: 4 
Prerequisites:

High school precalculus or equivalent. MATH 050 strongly recommended. No credit given for both this course and MATH 061A or 071. May not be taken after MATH 071. For those interested in continuing with calculus, see MATH 071B. (Formerly MATH 10E.)
