STUDENT RECEIVES GEICO ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Hofstra student Brian Delshad, a finance major, was named a recipient of the GEICO Achievement Award in December 2006. The award is given to a sophomore or junior who is majoring in a business-related program and who has maintained a 3.0 G.P.A. and been active in community and campus activities. Mr. Delshad, a Dean's List student, is involved with the Financial Management Club and is a teaching assistant for Dr. Saeng Kim.
