Hofstra Celebrates Women's "Herstory" Month

Multicultural Film Series, "Beauty Pageant", Women's Issues In Politics Town Hall Meeting and A Feminist Play

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Hofstra University’s Women’s “Herstory” Month, a month devoted to honoring women and their impact in the world, features a multicultural film series, "Beauty Pageant", a town hall meeting and a feminist play.

In 1987 Congress declared March Women’s History Month.

Some of the Women’s “Herstory” Month events are listed below and opened to the Hofstra Community only.
