Operation Downtown Seminar teaches how to Cut to the Chase at work

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Cut to the Chase will be the topic of the next seminar in Hofstra’s “Operation Downtown” series on March 8, 2007 from 8-10 a.m. in room 246 of the Scott Skodnek Business Development Center, Joan & Donald E. Axinn Library, south campus.

The seminar will be led by Stuart R. Levine, Chairman and CEO of Stuart Levine & Associates LLC, and author of the book, Cut to the Chase. It will cover topics such as how to make your point, act effectively, start with the end in mind, achieve a work/life balance, master the 10-minute meeting, think clearly, and communicate directly. The seminar is based on his book, in which Mr. Levine gives 100 no-nonsense rules on how to save both energy and time to become more effective and productive at work and in life. The book is about how disciplined strategic thinking leads to better decision-making. Mr. Levine, who also wrote The Six Fundamentals of Success: The Rules for Getting it Right for Yourself and Your Organization, is a globally insightful, exhilarating speaker who helps entrepreneurs and business leaders meet their goals.
