Fine Arts Major Selected to Show Her Work at the LI Art League

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY … Kaitlyn Yale, a fine arts major at Hofstra University, specializing in painting and portraits, was selected to show three of her works at the Director’s Cut exhibition at the Long Island Art League, February 11-March 18, 2012. Director’s Cut is a talent showcase for students from the art departments of Long Island’s colleges and universities.

Kaitlyn previously had a show at Hofstra’s Axinn Library titled If You Only Knew. Currently she spends two days a week in Manhattan interning in the art department of The Rachael Ray Show.

The three works she had on display at Director’s Cut – “The Boxer,” “An Aging Beauty” and the abstract “A Vibrant Disappearance” – are currently on display at ArtSpace Patchogue until April 7.
