The Hofstra Cultural Center Presents "Carmen," Performed by The Bronx Opera Company

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY … The Bronx Opera Company will perform Georges Bizet’s Carmen at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse at Hofstra University. The fully-staged production will be performed in English with a 30-piece orchestra. Show times are 8 p.m. on Friday, May 18, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19.

Carmen, Bizet's original opéra-comique version with dialogue, is one of the world's favorite operas, based on the novella Carmen by Prosper Mérimée.

Tickets are $40, $37 for senior citizens and $10 for children under 12. Members of the Hofstra community may purchase up to two tickets for $22 each upon presentation of a current HofstraCard.
