Hofstra University Offers Classes to High School Students This Summer
Session II begins June 28
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Students who have completed their junior year of high school will be eligible to receive college credit for Hofstra summer classes ranging from Astronomy and English to Mathematics and Swahili.These classes will be offered in two different sessions: Summer Session II runs Monday, June 28 through Friday, July 30 and Summer Session III runs Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 20, 2010.
To find out more about each Summer Session, students can attend a summer Transfer Day on Wednesday, June 23 from noon until 7 p.m. (for Summer Session II) or Wednesday, July 28 from noon until 7 p.m. (for Summer Session III).
It is strongly recommended that students interested in taking summer classes discuss their plans in advance with their guidance counselor.
