Both the online and on campus classes are taught by experts in the field of higher education:

•    Sean Fanelli, Ph. D., served as the Nassau Community College President for 27 years.  Dr. Fanelli will be the  Graduate Director and also teach in the program.
•    Holly Seirup, Ph.D. is a leading faculty member for this program and has worked in higher education for over 20 years.  Prior to her professorship, Dr. Seirup served as vice president of operations and dean of students at Hofstra.
•    Eduardo Duarte Ph.D. and Jonathan Lightfoot Ph.D. will add their expertise in philosophical and social foundations. 

In addition to the convenience and flexibility of taking courses online, students also have the option to take some courses on campus if they choose.  The higher education concentration is 36 credit hours and runs in full semester terms (15 weeks).  New students applying for this program must enter in the fall.
