WRHU Nominated for Six College Broadcasters, Inc. Awards

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY –  WRHU, Radio Hofstra University has been nominated for six College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) 2009 National Student Production Awards.

The nominations are as follows:

Best Sports Reporting:
“Winding Trip to Hofstra” and “Changes Since Real Quiet”

Best News Reporting:
“Wii-HAB”

Best Sports Play-by-Play:
“Hofstra at Fairfield” and “Hofstra at ODU: CAA Quarterfinals”

Best Feature Show:
“A League of Our Own: Barbie Turns 50”

Winners will be announced during CBI’s annual convention in Austin, TX, October 28 through November 1, 2009.
