Hofstra University Office of Graduate Admissions
to Host Open House Nov 21, 2010
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – The Office of Graduate Admissions will host an Open House on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 1-4 p.m. in the Main Dining Room, Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center, North Campus. The $70 application fee will be waived for students who apply at the Graduate Open House. Refreshments will be served.
Those who attend will learn more about Hofstra’s 150 graduate program offerings, the admissions process and the different resources offered to our graduate students, including financial aid opportunities.
Hofstra works hard to make open house events a great experience for prospective students. “It was a warm and welcoming experience, everyone was helpful and accommodating. I was able to have all my questions answered and now have a better sense of direction for my future. In fact, it was everything you could ask for and more,” said one prospective student after attending an Open House.
Applications for many programs are still being accepted for the spring and fall 2011 semesters, and the Dean of Graduate Admissions will be available to speak with students interested in enrolling. Graduate program directors and representatives from The School of Education, Health and Human Services, Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the School of Communication, and The Frank G. Zarb School of Business will also be on hand to answer questions and meet with prospective students.
For more information or to reserve your place at the Graduate Admissions Open House, please call 1-800-HOFSTRA or visit hofstra.edu/gradevents.
