Hofstra to Host Transfer Days in November and December
Transfer to Hofstra – A Move in the Right Direction
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra University Office of Undergraduate Admission (Bernon Hall, South Campus) is hosting the following Transfer Days:November 23, 2010 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
November 24, 2010 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
December 7, 2010 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
December 20, 2010 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
At Transfer Day, you will be able to complete your enrollment at Hofstra, no matter where you are in the process! You will be able to apply, receive an admission decision and preliminary credit evaluation, and register for the upcoming semester.
Students interested in transferring to Hofstra are encouraged to attend and learn about the transfer process, speak with current transfer students and attend presentations on academic and student affairs. Please bring copies of all transcripts from previously attended colleges and universities.
“Any transfer students interested in attending Hofstra this upcoming fall should take advantage of this wonderful opportunity,” says Associate Dean of Admission Eryn Hornung. “Talk about an all-inclusive event. Students can apply and receive an admission decision on the spot, speak to an Academic Advisement Dean about the applicability of their transfer credits, and even register for classes all in the same day!”

The Office of Undergraduate Admission is open Monday/Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.; and Saturday 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
