The Hofstra Gray Wig Presents My Way - A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra,

Opening New Year's Eve and Running Through January 21, Monroe Lecture Center Theater

My Way - A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra will ring in the new year at Monroe Lecture Center Theater.

The special New Year's Eve performance will begin on December 31, 2006 at 7 p.m. The performance includes a champagne toast. Tickets are $39.

All other show times are 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $24 general admission, $22 for senior citizens (over 65), $15 for matriculated non-Hofstra students, and $10 for member fo the Hofstra community with a current HofstraCard (two ticket maximum).

January 12 to 28, Emily and Jerry Spiegel Theater

Hofstra Entertainment presents the Ronald Harwood comedy Quartet, directed by Bob Spiotto

Quartet is a comedy of operatic proportions that is both funny and heartwarming. It is the first show that Hofstra USA Productions is presenting in 2007 under its new name, Hofstra Entertainment.

The play is set in a British country house for retired opera performers, a quartet of former colleagues - former stars - prepare for a hilarious end to their collective careers in a grand celebration of Giusseppe Verdi's birthday.

Show times at the Emily and Jerry Spiegel Theater are 8 p.m. on Fridays; 2 and 8 p.m. on Saturdays; and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $18 general admission; $16 for senior citizens (over 65) or matriculated non-Hofstra students with ID; and $13 for members of the Hofstra community with current HofstraCard (two-ticket maximum).
