Why did you pick your major?
A liberal arts education opens many doors to higher education and opportunities to pursue a master’s degree.  Also I have varying interests and I enjoy studying many disciplines.

Why did you pick Hofstra?
Proximity to the city.  Also it was close but not too close to home.

What have you found as your “Purpose”?
I, as a graduate, will be proof to the message that at Hofstra you can accomplish anything you want to.

Favorite campus activity:
Greek Week events

Why?
I really love my brothers and enjoy seeing other fraternities and sororities work together.

Favorite class/professor:
Introduction to Design

Why?
I found a passion I never knew I had.

Favorite thing about NY/Long Island
Pizza, and the best food in the world!

Favorite campus eatery:
Bits and Bytes

Favorite campus spot:
Rathskeller – Greek Life Cafeteria

What surprised you about Hofstra?
Diversity, very different from the Long Island I grew up on.

Best Hofstra memory:
September 29-October16. The Fall Festival and the Debate were the most important days of my pre-graduate life.  I learned so much about myself professionally and personally, I feel I am ready to take on all my future has to offer me.

Favorite (short) Hofstra story:
Even though I’ve been so involved at Hofstra, I never really had my mom come visit or really explore my accomplishments. I always sort of just called home to share the good news. But being that I was on Fall Festival Court this year, I decided this would be something I would want my mom to be at. Lo and behold, she came and brought a bunch of family members. When they announced my name that I had won, all I could was my mom screaming, “That’s my son!!” and I knew my time at Hofstra was definitely well spent!

What do you take the most “Pride” in?
I take pride in how unique Hofstra is.  My friends at other colleges and universities seem to have picked one outlet for extra-curricular engagement and given themselves to it.  At Hofstra you can be involved in many clubs and organizations and as long as you can manage the timing.  From fraternities and sororities to student affairs engagement and clubs, I like that you can be part of many different communities here at Hofstra.

What have you found as your “Purpose”?
I, as a graduate, will be proof to the message that at Hofstra you can accomplish anything you want to.
