What surprised you about Hofstra?
My teammates and coaches, and the very different views of the sport here as compared to England.

What is your idea of success in five years? Or in 20 years?
Playing professional soccer for the NY Red Bulls.

Best Hofstra memory:
Winning our semifinal against William & Mary.

Favorite (short) Hofstra story:
Last-minute win in the semifinals and celebrating on the bus with my team and coaches.

What do you take the most “pride” in?
I find my pride in the athletics community here. Being so far away from home, the people in the athletics program have become my family and the fields my home. I remember my first year on the team when we came back from a losing game and won semifinals. The bus trip back with coaches singing and teammates dancing on the bus … I felt like I was where I belonged.

What have you found as your “purpose”?
I brought a unique aspect to the team. The knowledge and appreciation I have for soccer, being from Europe, gave my teammates a different view of the sport that they all love so much. Oh, and apparently I am talented – or so I’m told.
