Hofstra accepted all of my credits when I transferred here.

My favorite thing to do on campus is hang out with friends.

Public Speaking with Professor Trasciatti because she really taught me how to speak my mind and not be afraid to be myself.
What do you take the most "Pride" in?
I take the most pride in my involvement with the Debate. It was a once in a lifetime experience...
Favorite thing about NY/ Long Island
My favorite thing about Long Island is the proximity to the beach.
Favorite campus eatery:
The Grilled Cheese panini station in the Student Center.
Favorite campus spot:
There is a path on the academic side of campus behind Phillips Hall that is the most beautiful place on Hofstra's campus. You can find me on that bench doing homework when it's nice outside.
What surprised you about Hofstra?
I transferred from a smaller college and was expecting to be just a number here, but that has never been the case. Every department I have worked with and my advisor and professors have always known me as Megan and really cared.
What is your idea of success in 5 years? Or in 20 years?
My view of success in five years would be to have graduated and found a steady job that I enjoy.
Best Hofstra memory:
My best Hofstra memory was going on the Alternative Spring Break trip to work with Habitat for Humanity in El Paso, Texas. It was the best week of my life.
Favorite (short) Hofstra story:
My favorite story I like to tell about my time at Hofstra was how I was able to watch the Debate live inside the Debate Hall!
What do you take the most "Pride" in?
I take the most pride in my involvement with the Debate. It was a once in a lifetime experience that I learned so much from and will always remember.
What have you found as your "Purpose?”
After returning from the Alternative Spring Break last semester, my friend and I were so inspired by the service work we had done that we created a club on campus to continue doing volunteering in the community. I think this has been my purpose at Hofstra.
