Hofstra Students Spend Winter Break Helping New Orleans
Hillel-sponsored trip showed students they can make a difference in people’s lives
A group of Hofstra students spent part of their winter break gutting New Orleans homes that were devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and meeting some of the families who are struggling to remain in the city.
