Social Media: Marketing A Successful Business
Scott Skodnek Business Development Center Presents A Social Media Workshop Series with Mitch Tobol
Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York –The Scott Skodnek Business Development Center at Hofstra presents three social media workshops focusing on marketing your business successfully using the latest social media tools for marketing. The presentations will be led by Mitch Tobol a partner at CGT Marketing, LLC, an innovative marketing agency focused on helping companies achieve their goals through the intelligent use of traditional and social media. He has assisted more than 500 businesses in developing and improving their marketing strategies over the past 30 years.
The workshops will be held on Wednesdays from 8 – 10 a.m. April 18, 25 and May 2, 2012. The titles of the workshops are Learning to Use SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Effectively, Using the Latest Features for LinkedIn, and Creating Content that Works for Social Media.

The Scott Skodnek Business Development Center
The Scott Skodnek Business Development Center offers a comprehensive package of expertise and services promoting economic development and job creation for the Hofstra community, Long Island and the region. The BDC’s focus is providing resources, training and development for business including the EAP Program and Operation Downtown seminars to enhance the skills of business owners. Training in QuickBooks and social media skills including FaceBook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Email are also offered. Customized projects are created to support businesses, organizations and government agencies.
