Scott Skodnek Business Development Center at Hofstra University Offers a QuickBooks Certificate Program

Participants Will Learn to Create a QuickBooks Company

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Hofstra University’s Scott Skodnek Business Development Center is offering a QuickBooks Certificate Program where participants will learn how to manage their businesses more efficiently.

The QuickBooks Certificate Program consists of workshop sessions where participants will learn to track credit card transactions, invoice customers, create sales orders, pay bills, customize reports and graphs and more. The workshop sessions will be held on Monday and Wednesday from 8 to 11 a.m. on June 4, 6, 11 and 13, 2012.   $250 fee includes materials.  Basic computer skills are required.

The Scott Skodnek Business Development Center offers a comprehensive package of expertise and services promoting economic development and job creation for the Hofstra community, Long Island and the region.  The BDC’s focus is providing resources, training and development for business including the EAP Program and Operation Downtown seminars to enhance the skills of business owners.  Training in QuickBooks and social media skills including FaceBook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Email are also offered.   Customized projects are created to support businesses, organizations and government agencies.
