Operation Downtown Seminar teaches how to Successfully Market in Challenging Times


Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York – How to successfully market your business in challenging times will be the topic of the next Operation Downtown seminar sponsored by the Scott Skodnek Business Development Center at Hofstra University on March 12, 2009 from 8-10 a.m. at the Hofstra University Club, David S. Mack Hall, North Campus.

The seminar will be lead by Mitch Tobol, partner of CGT Marketing, LLC. It will cover topics such as navigate this new marketplace, gain a competitive advantage, use social networking to your advantage and realize a return on investment (ROI). Mr. Tobol has assisted more than 500 businesses in developing and improving their marketing strategies over the past 26 years.

"These free Operation Downtown seminars, began in October 2004, address topics of interest to business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs," said Richard V. Guardino, Jr., Vice President for Business Development at Hofstra University. The series is partially funded by a grant from New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr.  

The Business Development Center is a multidisciplinary center offering human and technological resources for business support and education, as well as community service. It also supports government agencies in their own endeavors and in their efforts to assist businesses in the metropolitan area.
