The Lyon, the Which, and the Warhol – The Sequel
Exhibition Helps the Hofstra University Museum Continue Its 50 Year Anniversary
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – The exhibition The Lyon, the Which, and the Warhol is on view through September 15, 2013, at the Hofstra University Museum’s David Filderman Gallery, located on the 9th floor of the Axinn Library, South Campus.
This sequel to the Museum’s early spring 2013 exhibition focuses on themes of gender and identity while highlighting photography from the Museum’s permanent collection by artists Danny Lyons and Andy Warhol. The exhibit also includes works by Diane Arbus, as well as works in other media by Oskar Kokoschka, Alfred Maurer, and Eduardo Luigi Paolozzi.
