The Music and Magic of Broadway Come to Hofstra

Hofstra Entertainment Presents "Broadway Live! 2," January 20-22, 2012

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY …  Classic Broadway songs will be performed by top Broadway talent at the Hofstra Entertainment production Broadway Live! 2 at the Helene Fortunoff Theater, Monroe Lecture Center, California Avenue, South Campus. Show times are 8 p.m. on Friday, January 20, and Saturday, January 21, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2012.

Broadway Live! 2 will feature Robert Cuccioli (Tony Award nominee — Jekyll & Hyde), Stephanie Pope (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chicago) and  Trisha Rapier (Sister Act, The Boy From Oz) performing songs from Hairspray, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Les Miserables, Follies, Company, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Funny Girl, Annie, Porgy and Bess, Jersey Boys and Hair, as well as the great American songwriters Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and more.

The show will also include songs from the new Broadway Ray Charles musical Unchain My Heart.

Tickets are $35; $30 senior citizen (over 65) with ID; $25 matriculated student with ID.
