THINK "SUMMER" AT HOFSTRA'S 2007 SUMMER CAMPS OPEN HOUSE

Special Tom Pecora Youth Basketball Clinic Scheduled

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY - It may be the middle of winter, but parents and kids ages 4-17 will be thinking of summer fun at Hofstra University College of Continuing Education's Summer Camps Open House on Saturday, January 20, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the Physical Fitness Center on Hofstra's North Campus. On-site registration will be available.

Hofstra Summer Day Camps will offer three two-week camp sessions: July 2-13, July 16-27, July 30-August 10, and a one-week session on August 13-17. In addition to the Hofstra Gifted Camp program, Hofstra Specialty Camps will include: Actors Workshop, Adventure Education, Athletic Development, Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Computers, Cub Camp, Dance, Fine Arts, Golf, Reading/Writing/Math Assistance, Musical Theater, Science, Soccer, Tennis and Video Game Development. Additionally, Hofstra Sports Academy will offer the Chris Dotolo Baseball Camp, the Tom Pecora Boys Basketball Camp, the Krista Kilburn-Steveskey Girls Basketball Camp, and the Seth Tierney Boys Lacrosse Camp.

A special Tom Pecora Youth Basketball Clinic will be held on Sunday, January 14, from 12-2 p.m., in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex on the North Campus. Join the Hofstra Pride Men's Basketball team for on-court instruction, autograph session, building tour, summer camp information and on-site registration. Be sure to wear sneakers to join the Hofstra Basketball Team in a free instructional open house clinic in our state-of-the-art sports and exhibition complex.
