"I am very proud of the team for the job they did this year," said cheerleading coach Christine Farina.  "Winning three championships in a row is a huge accomplishment, and we are all happy that the hard work has paid off."

For more than a decade, the Pride cheerleaders have been ranked among the nation's top 10 teams.  Previously, they won the Small Co-ed Championship title in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010.

To prepare for nationals, the team practiced twice everyday through the January break, compared to their typical practice schedule of three or four times a week.  The team that was chosen to compete at nationals is comprised of the cheer program's most elite group of 12 women and four men out of the total 30 members.

Hofstra's Dance Team, which also competed at Disney World, placed third in Division I Hip Hop and ninth in Division I Jazz.  The Dance Team has developed into one of the premier college dance programs in the United States.  It has been nationally ranked for more than a decade and is consistently ranked in the top five.

Videos of all the teams' performances can be seen here.
