HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY HOSTS TENTH ANNUAL IRISH FESTIVAL

HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD, NY ... Hofstra University presents the Tenth Annual Irish Festival on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Physical Fitness Center , located on the University’s North Campus.                

The Irish Festival celebrates the Irish gifts of music, food and culture to America. There will be a number of music and dance performances throughout the day, as well as a variety of crafts and food  vendors.

Featured performers include the Ceili Rain Band, The Hirten Family Irish Dancers, The Screaming Orphans, Michael O’Rourke and the Black Velvet Band, Tiny the Clown, Phil the Comic Magician and much more!

Suggested admission to the Tenth Annual Irish Festival is $3 per person. Net proceeds benefit the Hofstra Scholarship Fund.
