Hofstra University Mourns the Loss Of Dr. Ellen Parker, Professor Emerita of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY: The Hofstra community is saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Emerita of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences, Dr. Ellen Parker.

Dr. Parker served as Professor in the Department, Department Chair, and Director of the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at the Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center. She was a compassionate teacher, clinician and scholar whose major interest was in the areas of childhood language and the diagnosis and treatment of language disorders in children.
