The Virtual College Fair, March 25 & 26
Hofstra University’s Office of Undergraduate Admission to Participate in CollegeWeekLive Online Event
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Hofstra University will again be taking part in CollegeWeekLive, a free, virtual college fair on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.High school students and their families are invited to visit our “virtual booth” where they will be able to download brochures and handouts, discover important Web links to help browse school information, and best of all, chat live with one of our admission representatives who will be standing by, ready to answer any questions. This is a great way for students and parents to meet with Hofstra representatives if they cannot travel to an actual college fair, or it can complement an in-person visit and allow students to ask additional questions.
CollegeWeekLive visitors can watch admissions experts speak on topics such as how to prepare for the SAT, how to write a winning application essay and how to pay for college, and have their questions answered via live chat. The event also features special promotions, scholarship opportunities and fun giveaways for those who register.
CollegeWeekLive is the world’s biggest virtual college fair, with more than 200 colleges and universities from around the world exhibiting and more than 25,000 attendees. For more information and to register, please visit www.collegeweeklive.com.
