Richard J. Daly to speak at Zarb School of Business 2009 Executive Speakers Series Program
The Road from Entrepreneur to C.E.O.
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Entrepreneur and business leader Richard J. Daly will discuss his path from entrepreneur to chief executive officer during a Zarb executive speakers series event on March 18, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Axinn Library, Room 246, South Campus.Mr. Daly is chief executive officer of Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. and a member of the Broadridge board of directors. He is also a member of the board of trustees of New York Institute of Technology, a founding member of the board of directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County, Inc. and currently serves as an honorary director. From 1996-2004 he attended the Harvard Business School’s Young President’s Program, successfully completing the President’s Program in Leadership.
Mr. Daly was the recipient of the Ernst & Young 2003 Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Arthur Andersen 2000 Global Best Practices Award in the categories of “Organization Excellence” and “People”.
