Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY … Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business, in collaboration with Hofstra Entertainment, presents best-selling financial author and former CNN business correspondent Paula Nelson in a program titled Soar With Your Strengths: Making Money, Creating Security and Identifying Opportunities in Today’s Chaotic Economy. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at Hofstra University’s Monroe Lecture Center Theater, California Avenue, South Campus.
Nelson, hailed as “one of the brightest people in the money world,” will explore the current economic crisis and offer insight and strategies to help people discover ways to increase their income, create financial security, acquire funding for their businesses and much more.
Bob Spiotto, artistic director of community arts programs and executive producer of Hofstra Entertainment, will moderate this entertaining and informative interview-style program, followed by a question and answer session.
Tickets for Soar With Your Strengths are $20, $15 senior citizen (over 65), $5 non-Hofstra student with ID. Members of the Hofstra community receive one free ticket upon presentation of a current HofstraCard.
