Frank G. Zarb School of Business Ranked Among the Nation’s Best Full-Time Graduate Business Programs

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – The Frank G. Zarb School of Business ranked 63rd in the U.S. News and World Report annual ranking of full-time master's programs in business.

In fall 2008 and early 2009, 426 graduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International were surveyed in areas including educational quality, peer and recruiter assessment, graduate employment rates, mean starting salaries, placement success and acceptance rates.

"The Zarb School provides a high level of teaching excellence and professional development for our graduates," notes Dean Salvatore F. Sodano. "It is a great accomplishment to be recognized by deans and directors of outstanding institutions as one of the nation's top business programs."

Zarb offers day and evening undergraduate and graduate study, minors in business subjects, certificate programs and one of the nation's only programs with dual AACSB accreditations in business and accounting. Students have access to a vast array of financial and economic data in the Martin B. Greenberg trading room, which features Bloomberg Professional terminals. They also have the opportunity to integrate their classroom knowledge about international business with a study abroad experience in Beijing or Ireland and an exchange program with the University of Amsterdam or Erasmus University and can participate in more than 30 business-related student organizations.

The Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University believes that the best business education provides students with a sound knowledge of their field combined with a broad, well-rounded program of study guided by an experienced faculty committed to excellence. Recognized as a top 15 MBA in marketing program by the Princeton Review's Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools and ranked by BusinessWeek as a top 100 undergraduate business program, the Zarb School continues to provide its students with a solid educational background that prepares them to excel in their chosen field.
