Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY … The sun will come out … in August, at Hofstra University’s John Cranford Adams Playhouse when Hofstra Entertainment and The Gray Wig present one of the world's best-loved musicals, Annie.

Annie, featuring book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin, was the winner of seven Tony Awards. This Hofstra production is directed and choreographed by Amy Dolan Fletcher with musical direction by Stephen Pagano.

Sunday, August 15, 22 and 29, 2 p.m.

Tickets are $30, $28 senior citizen (over 65); $18 matriculated non-Hofstra student with ID; $15 children 12 and under; $15 Hofstra faculty, staff, student with current HofstraCard (two ticket maximum).

There is also a Friday evening and Saturday matinee special: Children under 12 receive one free ticket with the purchase of one full-priced ticket for the performances on Friday, August 27, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 28, at 2 p.m.
