The Center for International Financial Services and Markets at Hofstra University to Host Conference on Social Responsibility in Business in the 21st CenturyHofstra University, Hempstead, NY - In recognition of the 75th Anniversary of Hofstra University, the Center for International Financial Services and Markets, in collaboration with the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University will present a conference on Social Responsibility in Business in the 21st Century on December 1, 2010 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. it the Student Center Theater, Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center, North Campus.
The conference will be immediately followed by a banquet at the Hofstra University Club, David S. Mack Hall North Campus. The banquet will feature keynote speaker Paul O'Neill, former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and former Chairman and CEO of ALCOA.
The daytime keynote speaker will be Joseph Grundfest, a professor of Law and Business from Stanford University. He will discuss why the topic of corporate social responsibility is, and will always be, controversial.
The conference will also feature a thought leadership panel with Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. CEO Richard Daly.
