Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business Featured In “Best 294 Business Schools: 2012 Edition”
Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York –The Princeton Review features the Frank G. Zarb School of Business as an outstanding business school. The education services company features the school in the new 2012 edition of its book, “The Best 294 Business Schools".
According to Robert Franek, Princeton Review Senior Vice President-Publisher, “We recommend the Frank G. Zarb School of Business to readers of our book and users of our site as one of the best institutions they could attend to earn an MBA. We chose the 294 business schools in this book based on our high opinion of their academic programs and offerings, as well as our review of institutional data we collect from the schools. We also strongly consider the candid opinions of students attending the schools who rate and report on their campus experiences at their schools on our survey for the book.”
“It comes as no surprise to us that Zarb is featured in the Princeton Review’s 294 Best Business Schools: 2012 Edition,” said Dr. Patrick Socci, dean of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business. “Throughout all Zarb School of Business programs, the importance of lifelong education, ethics in business, an awareness of global issues and concern for the environment are emphasized. While pursuing their studies at our school, our students are able to participate in a wide variety of activities and cultural events on campus, as well as take advantage of the rich diversity of activities and business opportunities available on Long Island and Manhattan which makes this school not only a great place to achieve an excellent education but to also experience life.”
In the book, the Princeton Review editors describe the Zarb school's offerings this way: “Hofstra University’s up and coming business programs are contemporary, well-rounded, rigorous, and highly recognized in NYC.” They quote from students who call the school as “entrepreneurial and innovative”, “meshing technology with learning” and faculty members who “all seem to genuinely care about our wants, needs and aspirations.”
The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is one of 67 schools in the book (22% of the 294) that appear on one or more of the book’s ranking lists. It is ranked in the top 100 in the Academics, Professors Interesting, Professors Accessible, Career Rating and Admissions Selectivity categories.
